CAT stands for common admission test is the national level entrance exam that is conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) was started in 1950, for the students seeking admissions in MBA, PGDM and other postgraduate management courses in India. This exam is conducted annually usually in November. The mode of CAT entrance exam is online that is a computer-based test, duration of the exam is 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours and covering the three sections namely qualitative ability, verbal and reading comprehension and data interpretation and logical reasoning.
Candidates emerging for the CAT entrance exam should make sure that they meet the mandatory educational qualifications that have been laid down by the authority which will conduct the exam.
ϖ Candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% CGPA or 45% in case of scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and persons with disability.
ϖ The degree should be approved by any universities united by an act of the central or state statutory body in India or other organizations.
ϖ Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelors’ degree or who have finished the degree course can apply.
