Among the constituent colleges of the University of Delhi, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College was established in the year 1990 in memory of Deen Dayal Upadhyay, an Indian RSS thinker and former leader to the political party Bharatiya Jana Sangh. Comprising of a campus that covers 8 acres of land, DDUC has been received with an NAAC accreditation of GRADE B and has been recognized to get a 16th ranking among degree colleges according to NIRF (National Institute Ranking Framework) owing to its commendable structure of teaching and learning resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcome, outreach and inclusivity and perception.
The college offers a significant number of undergraduate courses which include bachelor degrees in computer sciences, electronics, mathematics, physics, life sciences, physical sciences, chemistry, botany, zoology, mathematical science; commerce and arts. The institute introduced a three-year bachelor program on business studies to launch into the faculty of business and management education for which a National entrance test is conducted to shortlist candidates for further rounds of the selection procedure.
